Disneyland Paris has confirmed its special events for Mickey Mouse’s birthday this Friday, 18th November, along with some cute pictures of the birthday mouse himself ready to unwrap the gifts. As part of a global “#HappyBirthdayMickey” social media initiative, the surprises at Disneyland Paris will actually extend all weekend, until Sunday 20th November. Special highlights include:

• “Happy Birthday Mickey” pre-parade cavalcade 30 minutes before the main Disney Magic on Parade! (18th – 20th November 2016)
• Unique Mickey Mouse cupcakes to be hunted out at park dining locations (18th – 19th November)
• Special Mickey Mouse-coloured birthday cakes available to order for guests also celebrating their birthdays, at resort Table Service locations (18th November)
