From 18th March 2018, you can get a head-start on the crowds for even more attractions during Extra Magic Time, as three popular Discoveryland rides are added to the list. Early morning access will now be available into the retro-futuristic land for Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Orbitron – Machines Volantes. Sadly, Star Tours: L’Aventure Continue isn’t included, but this change does widen the Disneyland Park offering greatly beyond its usual Fantasyland mix, notably adding the park’s biggest thrill ride.

Discoveryland used to also be partly open during the previous Extra Magic Hours. Renamed Extra Magic Time late last year, a change to schedules also meant most mornings now only see one hour of exclusive park access instead of the previous two. However, this was negated by extending the perk across both parks on practically every morning: with Crush’s Coaster and Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy on the Walt Disney Studios Park list, it’s now a truly indispensable component in any Disneyland Paris visit to avoid extensive waits later in the day.
