Jewellery company
Pandora has extended its
Disney partnership with a new multi-year deal for Disneyland Paris, bringing exclusive new editions of its popular charms, a new boutique and sponsorship of Disney Illuminations nighttime spectacular.
New charms exclusive to Disneyland Paris will naturally include
Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant and Minnie Mouse next to the Eiffel Tower.
Forming part of the Disney Pandora collection available worldwide, the charms can be added to bracelets for endless customisation. They join similar exclusive charms already available at
Disneyland in California and
Walt Disney World in Florida.
As well as the core range being available at five merchandise locations around the Paris resort, Walt Disney Studios Park will also gain its very own “unique retail location” for Pandora creations.
Perhaps the best gift for Disneyland Paris, though, will be the sponsorship of its
Disney Illumations nighttime spectacular — and specifically the absolutely beautiful new attraction poster created as part of the deal.
Small signs have also recently appeared around Central Plaza advertising the new sponsor, perhaps the first time a specific piece of Disneyland Park entertainment has been “présenté par” an official partner since Main Street Electrical Parade and its longstanding Philips deal.
This mirrors the earlier Pandora sponsorship of
Wishes fireworks spectacular in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
As small as a Pandora charm it may be in the bigger picture, it’s just another example of how Disneyland Paris is becoming ever more integrated with the offering of its American cousins.
