Disneyland Paris continues to expand and improve upon its use of illuminated, choreographed drones for nighttime events, with this year’s brand new 14th July Bastille Day fireworks show featuring the technology for the first time.

With less than 40 days to go until Disneyland Paris launches its 30th Anniversary celebrations, the resort has finally confirmed what to expect with a series of new announcements and reveals.

It’s been a long wait, but now a crucial part of the Disney park magic is returning: Disneyland Paris has confirmed full parades, a nighttime spectacular, fireworks, shows and seasons will return to normal operation over the months ahead.

Disneyland Park will soon see the long-awaited return of a live stage show to its kingdom as Disneyland Paris confirms The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands will return from 23rd October 2021.

Disneyland Paris has confirmed its 30th Anniversary celebrations will begin in just six months’ time: on 6th March 2022. The resort’s 30th Anniversary logo has also been published for the first time.

Disneyland Paris’ 30th anniversary year will be welcomed with the full celebrations of a Disney New Year’s Eve Party, the resort has announced, as tickets go on sale for the 31st December 2021 event.

France has extended the use of its “pass sanitaire” health (or sanitary) pass to cover theme parks, meaning that Disneyland Paris will now be legally obliged to check visitors are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a recent negative test.

Disneyland Paris has opened bookings for resort hotel and park ticket packages through to summer 2022, right up until 30th September 2022, allowing many to book their planned return to the Disney resort after two years of upheaval.
