The early months of 2007 were a remarkable time in the history of Walt Disney Studios Park, as great swathes of the park were cordoned off with construction walls and noisy machinery worked feverishly to build the two new Toon Studio attractions, Hollywood Boulevard and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
This video captures the work at its maddest point, including some of the Toon Town hills being lowered in by crane. Through the drilling, an alternate new music loop for Toon Studio can also be heard, tested for a few days before disappearing forever.
